The Roman Villa of Veranes, known since ancient times as Torrexón de San Pedro, is located in the municipality of Gijón/Xixón, close to the ancient Roman route that connected these territories with its capital, Asturica Augusta (Astorga).
This site museum, which opened to the public in 2007, is part of the Archaeological Museums of Gijón along with the Museum of the Roman Baths of Campo Valdés and the Archaeological-Natural Park of Campa Torres.
Currently the Roman Villa of Veranes is part of the Network of Roman Villas of Hispania.
Access allowed to pets, on a leash, in outdoor areas.
