Calle Corrida 1 Building

Magnificent houses designed by the municipal architect Miguel García de la Cruz. It occupies number 1, on the corner of Calle de San Antonio, and was designed in 1911 for Mr. Antonio Sarri.
The building has lost some elements that the original project enjoyed, including an ornate turret with openwork oculi, but it still meets sufficient requirements to be suggestive and illustrative of modernist taste.
The most notable element on the façade, which combines ceramics, stone and iron, is the cresting that crowns the complex, especially in the area of the rotunda where the pinnacles are treated in a style that reminds us in a certain sense of Gaudí’s work.
