Bear House

The Casa del Oso, located in Proaza, has become the official headquarters of the Bear Foundation of Asturias since 1996, the year it was put into service. This three-storey building offers a variety of spaces for visitors to enjoy.
On the ground floor, there is the reception, a tourist information point, a souvenir shop and a museum-exhibition area. The first floor houses an audiovisual projection room and a multipurpose room for meetings, a documentation centre with books and documents related to the brown bear and of great historical and scientific interest. The second floor is reserved for administrative offices.
