Llamazares Galería opened its doors in 2005 founded by Gema Llamazares. After twenty years of experience in the dissemination and promotion of contemporary and emerging art, in 2021 his daughter, Diana Llamazares, took over the directorship, renewing her image and brand and embarking on an exciting path for the future. It fuses the spirit of work, ethics, coherence and tenacity that has characterized the work of the gallery during these last fifteen years with the strength of youth, enthusiasm and new approaches that will only enrich this new project.
Located in Gijón, within its exhibition program you can see the work of mid-career artists together with that of young creators, to whom the gallery offers a platform for the visibility of their projects and a commitment to the achievement of their artistic career.
Through curated projects, co-productions with other spaces and a strong presence at national and international fairs, Llamazares Galería has built a dynamic project that aims to give visibility to the wide variety of cultural approaches and aesthetic proposals that give meaning to current art.
