Jornadas Castreñas

With the organization of these II Castro Conferences, Archaeological Museums of Gijón/Xixón maintains its commitment to the dissemination of local archaeological heritage, within the framework of its renewed commitment to studies in La Campa Torres. On this occasion, the conference will focus above all on certain aspects of the material culture of the forts, reserving a session for recent developments from sites throughout the northwest of the peninsula. Likewise, the exhibition Cosiquines de La Campa Torres is inaugurated, in which some of the most relevant findings of the last phases of the Campa Project can be seen. In addition, various educational workshops and musical performances by folk groups will be developed.
