Muséu del Pueblu d’Asturies

The Pueblu d’Asturies was created in 1968 on the initiative of the Gijón/Xixón City Council and the Chamber of Commerce with the aim of preserving, studying and disseminating the memory of the Asturian people. The museum occupies a wooded area of 35,000 m². The museum’s collection includes tangible and intangible testimonies and covers very wide contents, so it is organized into 5 areas: museographic, musical, photographic, documentation, oral. Access allowed to pets, leashed, in outdoor areas.
