How to get there?From Cangas de Onís take the AS-114 road to Soto de Cangas and then the AS-262 road to Covadonga; continue to the Lakes of Covadonga. From the Les Veleres pass, take the forest track that, bordering the lake, enters the Vega de Enol. Follow it to Pan de Carmen, where you leave the vehicle (if you go by car). From here the route, well signposted, ascends to the Vega la Piedra, the Rondiella, Gamonal pass and Vegarredonda.
Approach2 h from Pan del Carmen to the refuge (elevation gain: 470 m).
