Monument to the Republic

It is a sculptural set of two pieces made of cast iron. One, circular and three metres in diameter, is set on a cylindrical structure. On its surface are engraved symbols that take us back to ancestral cultures. They remind us of the Celtic tradition, but also the millenary Egyptian, the mysterious Mayan or the oriental cultures. The second element is a commemorative column, with wavy shapes that seem to have been sculpted by the wind. At its base we can see the face, shaped but featureless, of a woman. In the crown, the most figurative profile of a bird that scans the horizon.
